Day 1: Meet the Aris
Itinerary
- You will fly from Addis Ababa to Jinka in the south of Ethiopia
- Lunch
- After lunch, we will visit the Ethnographic Museum of South Omo
- We will then visit the village of Ari where we will meet its inhabitants
- Dinner
It should be noted that on Saturdays and Mondays there is no flight for Jinka.
Day 2: Meet the Mursis
Itinerary
- After breakfast, we will leave Jinka to visit Mago National Park
- We will meet the Mursis, where the women are famous for their lip plates
- Lunch
- We will take the road to the city of Turmi
- Dinner
- Spend the night in Turmi
Day 3: Meet the Dassanech and the Hammer people
Itinerary
- We will go to Omorate and we will cross the Omo River
- Then we will meet the Dassanech
- Lunch
- After lunch, we will meet the Hammer
- Dinner
- Accomodation in Turmi
Day 4: The tribal villages
Itinerary
- After breakfast, we will go to the village of Karo, renown for the bodily sacrifices of its inhabitants
- Lunch
- We will then visit the tribal villages of Derashe, Tsemay and Benna, to meet those who live there
- Dinner
- Accomodation in Arbaminch
Day 5: The Konso tribe
Itinerary
- We will visit the walled villages of Konso tribe, where the landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Lunch
- We will cross Lake Chamo by boat, it is famous for the crocodiles that live in there and on the surrounding banks
- We will also see hippos and birds
- Dinner
Day 6: The Dorze
Itinerary
- After breakfast, we will visit the village of Dorze, renowned for its bamboo huts and weaving of traditional clothing
- Lunch
- We will fly to Addis Ababa
- At your leisure, you can enjoy shopping in the city
- If you have a flight in the afternoon, we will drive you to the airport
