Blue Nile

The largest river in Ethiopia, the Blue Nile originates at Lake Tana. It crosses the country for nearly 800 km, before joining the White Nile to form the Nile, the longest river in the world along with the Amazon. Crossing the highlands of Ethiopia, the river offers spectacular views, including its 40 m high falls which are the second largest falls on the whole African continent.
