Day 1: Ankober, the royal city
Itinerary
- We will set off to visit Ankober, former seat of Shewan kings
- We will then discover the ruins of King Menelik’s palace, as well as churches that are famous for their paintings and manuscripts
- Lunch
- From the top of Ankober Palace Lodge, we can admire the gorges and valleys of the region
- Dinner
- Accomodation in Ankober
Day 2: Debre Berhan, city of wool production
Itinerary
- After breakfast, we will visit the surrounding villages to discover the culture of the country
- On the way to Addis Ababa, we will stop at Debre Berhan, famous for its wool production
- Lunch
- If you have a flight in the afternoon, we will drive you to the airport
