Day 1: Addis Ababa, capital city of Ethiopia

Itinerary

  • Our team will welcome you on arrival in Addis Ababa
  • We will visit the National Museum (see the famous Lucy, among others) and the Trinity Cathedral
  • Lunch
  • After lunch, we will visit the historical monuments of the city
  • Dinner

Day 2 – Day 4: Discover the mammals and birds of Ethiopia

Itinerary

  • Departure for Jimma in the morning by plane
  • We will visit the Chebera Churchura National Park where we will see volcanic lakes, mammals and birds
  • Depending on availability or on your choice, you will spend 3 nights in a guest house in the park, or camping on the grounds
  • You will have the opportunity to taste traditional Ethiopian dishes

Day 5: Coffee production

Itinerary

  • We will return to Jimma
  • Lunch
  • Then we will visit a coffee plantation where we will observe how coffee is produced
  • The beverage will be served to us during a traditional ceremony
  • Dinner
  • Spend the night in Jimma

Day 6: Addis Ababa, capital city of Ethiopia

Itinerary

  • After breakfast, you will fly to Addis Ababa
  • If you wish, we can visit the city to discover its many facets
  • At your leisure, you can also enjoy shopping
  • If you have a flight in the afternoon, we will drive you to the airport
